New information on genetic research remains
Emperor Nicholas II and his family.
In July 2007 the remains of two people were found North of Ekaterinburg at the site of the Pig's Meadow, possibly belonging Tsetsarevich Alexei and his sister Maria. DNA studies of the remains were held by Russia, the United States and Austria.
In addition, the three labs re-examined remains of Emperor Nicholas II, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, and their daughters Olga, Tatiana and Anastasia, found North of the city of Sverdlovsk, in July 1991 at the site of the Pig's Meadow.
Official DNA results will be announced on December 5, 2008 from Ekaterinburg.
Dr. Michael Coble, Chief Scientist of the U.S. Army DNA Laboratory will present results of the DNA tests done on the Romanov family remains by his laboratory.
The Director of the Sverdlovsk Regional Forensic Bureau, Dr. N. Nevolin will present the results of the first DNA studies of blood samples from Emperor Nicholas II.

Новая информация о генетических исследованиях останков
Императора Николая II и членов Его Семьи.
В июле 2007 г. под Екатеринбургом обнаружены останки двух человек, возможно, принадлежащих Цесаревичу Алексею и Его сестре Марии. ДНК-исследования этих останков проведены специалистами в России, США и Австрии.
Кроме того, повторно исследованы останки Императора Николая II, Императрицы Александры Фёдоровны и их дочерей Ольги, Татьяны и Анастасии, обнаруженные под г. Свердловском в июле 1991 г.
5 декабря 2008г. в Екатеринбурге главный специалист ДНК-идентификации Майкл Кобл объявит результаты исследований, выполненных в лаборатории армии США.
Начальник Свердловского областного Бюро судебно-медицинской экспертизы Н. Неволин представит результаты впервые проведённого ДНК-исследования крови Императора Николая II.
